What should you know about digital literacy? Digital literacy is the ability to use digital technologies to access, evaluate, create, and communicate information in a variety of situations, including educational settings or with daily tasks. It’s a broad concept that involves both technical and cognitive skills. However, what may be overlooked is the impact restricted access to digital literacy resources have on learning pathways and social connections. It is crucial to be educated on the availability of these resources, as well as the pros and cons of having them as a resource.
