Dr. Arizmendi got to meet US Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona @seccardona and reunited with her Longhorns colleagues from UT Austin for the National Association of Bilingual Education Conference @nabeorg last week! 🤩 She presented on Thursday about challenges in heritage language preservation and what educators can do in the classroom to promote maintenance.
