VAMOSS (Vamos a Mejorar our Spanish in SLHS)!

Yesterday, some of SHCC’s members attended the Babel Lab’s new club: VAMOSS (Vamos a Mejorar our Spanish in SLHS), and we had a blast! VAMOSS is a space for people of ALL Spanish levels to come and practice speaking, reading, writing, and hearing Spanish. For the first event, we learned about the prevalence of Spanish - English bilingualism, listened to music in Spanish, wrote goals for our language learning, and played bingo with our peers🗣️💕

We would love to congratulate Dr. Arizmendi (SHCC’s advisor and the PI of @babel.lab) and her students on a successful first event! We look forward to seeing more from VAMOSS in the future!
